CPR/First Aid Training

Fulfill OSHA requirements with CPR/First Aid Training classes conveniently taught at your own place of business. This comprehensive course emphasizes the Primary and Secondary Essential Skills of Patient Care: SETUP, Primary Assessment, One Rescuer CPR, Choking Management, Control of Bleeding, Shock Management, Illness Assessment, and Injury Assessment. Employees and staff will learn and practice the skills of patient care in the same sequence in which they are actually used.

The CPR/First Aid Training classes include many hands-on exercises, which help ensure complete understanding and retention of these essential lifesaving skills. The course is available in English and Spanish. Certification: 2 years. Class length: 4 hours.

Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training

According the American Heart Association, almost 60,000 people die each year of cardiac arrest. Those receiving immediate use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) experience a 60% survival rate after one year. AED Training provides employees with the skills they need to identify when and how to administer the AED. The course includes hands-on exercises – employees will be comfortable using the device and administering lifesaving treatment in an emergency. The course is available in English and Spanish. Certification: 2 years. Class length: 2 hours.

Fire Extinguisher Training

Fire Extinguishers are a common sight in the workplace, but few employees know the most effective way to use one. Fire Extinguisher Training provides in-depth knowledge of fire characteristics, types of fires, and the proper equipment for fighting these fires. Hands-on practice is included. Proper training helps ensure a quick and effective response and greatly reduces the risk of injury in the workplace. Certification: 1 year. The course is available in English and Spanish. Class length with a dry demo: 1.5 hours.
