CONFINED SPACE ENTRY
The Confined Space Entry Course provides an easily explained, yet in-depth study of the Confined Space regulation, including the definition of a “Permit Required” and “Non-Permit” confined space. Employees will be taught the safety requirements needed to provide a “Permit” for a Space and to conduct atmospheric testing. Tests will be given to all employees and staff who participate in the class. Employees and staff must pass the test before receiving a Certificate of Participation for entry of “Confined Spaces”. Employees will receive a Reference Manual for use after the class. Course curriculum meets or exceeds the training requirements specified by Cal-OSHA.
HIGH & LOW VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL TRAINING
High voltage electricity is dangerous – following proper safety procedures is essential. Electrical Safety Principles and Procedures training targets employees who perform work on or near electrical equipment and systems energized up to 600 volts. Focused on the electrical safe work practices required by Cal-OSHA, this intensive one-day course includes Cal-OSHA Standards, Hazards of Electricity, Protection Devices, Personal Protective Equipment, Grounding, Safe Work Practices, Approach Boundaries and other applicable sections of NFPA 70e. The same Cal-OSHA Title 8, Chapter 5, Low and High Voltage Safety Orders are also covered in a one-day refresher course.
Personnel who work on or near power generation, transmission, or distribution systems should attend this course. Additionally, supervisors, managers, safety personnel, and those responsible for ensuring a safe work environment should also attend this course.

FACILITY/SITE SAFETY AUDIT
Is your facility safe? Does it comply with all Cal-OSHA requirements? A Facility/Site Safety Audit will help answer these worries and help you create a safe work environment. Inspectors will discover as many visually observable violations and hazards as possible. Once these hazards are documented, an employer can correct them, greatly reducing the risk of accidents. The Facility/Site Safety Audit categorizes the seriousness of any hazards or safety violations in your facility, provides an explanation of the applicable CCR or CFR Section number(s), and a photo of the violation (if requested).

LOCK OUT/TAG OUT
Workers maimed or killed due to the release of machine hazardous energy accounts for nearly 10% of serious industrial accidents. Cal-OSHA’s CCR Title 8, Sections 3314, 3340, and 3341 requires that employers develop a “specific” Energy Control Procedure for each piece of equipment that may expose employees to hazardous energy while in the process of setting up, cleaning, servicing, maintaining, adjusting or unjamming equipment. Lock Out/Tag Out Training ensures that employees understand the potential for exposure and their liability and responsibility as it relates to your company’s Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Program. Students will receive a comprehensive overview of the Standard, your company’s written policies and procedures, and how energized machines and equipment affect their daily activities.
HEARING CONSERVATION

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION
Individuals participating in the Respiratory Protection and Fit Testing class will understand the Cal-OSHA Standard, your company’s written policies and procedures, the need for protection, respirator maintenance, and how to perform positive and negative checks. Employees will be fit tested using the most accurate form of fit testing: Controlled Negative Pressure (CNP), a Cal-OSHA listed quantitative method. Please note: prior to fit testing, employees MUST have a documented release from your consulting physician. HAZARD COMMUNICATION

A written Hazard Communication Program is the first step and a requirement of Cal-OSHA, CCR Title 8 Section 5194. The program includes all necessary policies and procedures.

The Emergency Action Plan course will help you set the expectations and responsibilities for all personnel within your facility. Emergency Action Plans are required by Cal-OSHA, CCR Title 8 Section 3220 & 3221.
